Job summary

Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust in Romford is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Dietitian in Critical Care to provide highly specialist nutritional assessment and care planning for critically ill patients within the Critical Care MDT.

The post requires HCPC-registered dietitians with experience in complex nutrition support, GI surgery, and a proactive, evidence-based approach; you will contribute to audits, education, and service development within a dynamic Trust.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with HCPC.
• Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent.
• Post registration clinical course such as PENG or CCSG Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nutritional assessment and care planning for critically ill patients within the Critical Care MDT.
• Manage a caseload with varying nutritional complexity with a high degree of autonomy.
• Contribute to teaching, audits, and development of evidence-based guidelines within the unit.
