Job summary

Birmingham Community Health Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Dietitian to join the community nutrition support team. You will manage a caseload delivering home enteral feeding and complex oral nutrition support, providing supervision to junior staff, and contributing to service development across Birmingham.

You will visit patients in their homes and care homes, with a focus on patient-centred care and flexible working arrangements within an NHS framework.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a dietitian is required.
• Experience in community nutrition or enteral feeding is preferred.
• Excellent communication and time management skills essential.
• Patient-centred and solution-focused professional practice is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs of community patients in a holistic manner.
• Plan and implement home enteral feeding and complex oral nutrition support.
• Supervise Band 4 and 5 staff and provide clinical supervision.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and service development.
• Travel to patients' homes and care facilities within defined area.
