Job summary

Candour is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance cloud infrastructure, while contributing to scalable, high-performing solutions. You will mentor colleagues, help plan complex work, and drive improvements in deployment, monitoring, and IaC practices.

The role emphasizes Terraform, Bash scripting, AWS services, and a strong focus on cost visibility, automation, and architecture evolution in a fully remote UK setting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing live production environments, including incidents and new system rollouts.
• Proficient with Terraform in large-scale environments and creating reusable modules.
• Shell scripting skills (Bash) and Linux experience.
• Awareness of cloud costs and cost visibility.
• Experience with AWS services and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Mentor teammates, share knowledge, and strengthen DevOps practices.
• Contribute to planning complex technical work and breaking down deliverables.
• Improve deployment processes, rollback strategies, monitoring, and migration approaches.
