Job summary

MI6, the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), is seeking experienced software engineers to lead and mentor in deploying and operating scalable software services. You will work on Kubernetes deployments across cloud platforms, develop CI/CD pipelines, and apply SRE principles to maintain high reliability.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and responsible for improving observability and tooling with AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• Experience using AI within engineering processes and integrating AI capabilities into production systems.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in industry.
• Passion for writing code, improving processes, and communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate software services across platforms, from standalone systems to large Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms.
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve Kubernetes-based deployments and release automation.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines and apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to production services.
