Job summary

MI6 (SIS) seeks a Senior Engineering Manager (AI) to lead AI-enabled engineering initiatives in a highly secure government environment. You will shape the adoption of AI tooling and ML Ops, guiding teams across multiple product areas to deliver secure, high-quality systems.

You will lead, mentor and grow engineering talent, balancing strategic direction with hands-on technical contributions, all within an environment that values autonomy, curiosity and ethical AI use.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading engineering teams and delivering technical projects.
• Hands-on software engineering background with architecture and delivery experience.
• Experience shaping adoption of AI-assisted development tools and MLOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud and modern development patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-focused engineering teams to adopt AI tooling and ML Ops.
• Define engineering strategy and ensure secure, high-quality systems.
