Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Technology team and help design, build, and optimize the platforms powering global business operations. You will apply deep expertise across CI/CD, container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and observability to deliver resilient software systems.

You will collaborate with development teams, implement secure delivery pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while shaping engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in software engineering, systems development, or DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based workflows.
• Kubernetes and OpenShift knowledge, including Helm chart development.
• Linux administration and shell scripting for automation.
• End-to-end delivery experience from planning to production deployment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Tekton, and Harness.
• Build and manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift with Helm.
• Architect and maintain observability with Splunk, Elastic/Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Address complex technical problems across applications, processes, and delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams, business users, and stakeholders to define standards and improvements.
• Develop and enforce security measures across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Act as a technical authority, providing guidance and code reviews to junior engineers.
