Job summary

Kallidus is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and advance the platforms behind our SaaS applications. The role focuses on secure, resilient and scalable infrastructure, with emphasis on automation, CI/CD, IaC and container platforms.

You will work closely with Infrastructure and Development teams to improve operational effectiveness and production delivery. Based in Bristol/Cirencester with one day per week in the office, you will help define platform standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on DevOps and infrastructure engineering experience.
• Good understanding of modern application development, deployment and operational practices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the platform infrastructure that underpins applications and services.
• Design, build and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and related platform services, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, upgrades, troubleshooting and automation.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD tooling and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar.
• Monitor and optimise platform performance, reliability, capacity and security.
• Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure, platform and deployment incidents.
• Develop and maintain automation and configuration management using PowerShell, Bash, Chef and equivalents.
• Provide technical guidance on platform architecture, security and risk.
• Contribute to platform roadmaps and technology standards.
