Job summary

Hyperlayer is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our infrastructure, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance. You will drive CI/CD, cloud architecture, and IaC practices across AWS/Azure/GCP.

The role involves mentoring peers, collaborating with software teams, securing infrastructure, and maintaining documentation while participating in on-call rotations. UK-based, in-office culture with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or a senior role.
• Extensive CI/CD experience with Jenkins/GitLab CI/CircleCI.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong cloud experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• IaC expertise: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with software teams for seamless delivery.
• Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform/Ansible/CF).
• Oversee Docker and Kubernetes containerization/orchestration.
• Develop automation scripts for admin tasks.
• Ensure security and compliance across infrastructure.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and improve reliability.
• Mentor other DevOps engineers and document processes.
