Job summary

Client Server Limited in Bracknell is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate scalable production platforms across AWS, VMware and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

You will design zero-downtime deployments, improve observability with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK, and mentor multiple development teams while working from home most of the time and visiting the Bracknell office twice a week.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and maintaining software delivery pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Artifactory and AWS ECS/EKS
• Experience managing production hosting environments, AWS and VMware
• Solid understanding of Linux, Windows Server and networking
• You're familiar with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Icinga2 or APM platforms
• You're collaborative with great communication skills

Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS VMWare GitHub) Bracknell / WFH to £95k

Are you a Senior DevOps Engineer who enjoys building scalable, resilient platforms and improving the way software is delivered?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on DevOps Engineer role a global financial services company as they rebuild the international payments platform, working within the Corporate Payments division.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will build, deploy and operate production applications across AWS, VMware and Kubernetes environments. You'll develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management and create self-service environments that empower developers to work more independently.

You'll also enhance monitoring and observability to identify and resolve production issues, drive zero downtime deployments and design highly available systems. With plenty of scope to improve existing platforms and services, you'll help establish a strong DevOps culture, sharing your expertise and guiding multiple development teams.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the Bracknell office twice a week.

About You:

• You have strong experience building and maintaining software delivery pipelines and CI/CD processes
