Deerfoot IT Resources Limited in Oxfordshire is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure strategy and implementation. You will design secure multi‑account AWS environments defined as code, manage container platforms with GitOps deployments, and drive security reviews across the estate.

Hybrid role (2 days in the office) with a competitive salary (£85,000–£110,000 DOE) and benefits including pension, private healthcare and generous holidays.

Qualificações

• Strong DevOps or SRE background with hands-on AWS experience.
• Deep Kubernetes experience, including on-premises clusters.
• Experience with Helm, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines and GitOps tooling, with Docker and Linux.
• Scripting in Bash and Python or Go, and security testing integrated into pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design and run secure multi-account AWS environments defined entirely as code.
• Manage container platforms in the cloud and on-premises with automated GitOps deployments.
• Lead security reviews and hardening across the estate.
• Own monitoring, alerting and resilience, including backups and recovery testing.
• Keep cloud spend under control and support compliance audits.
• Handle incidents and coach developers on secure delivery.
