Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer AVP in Belfast to design, build, and optimize production-ready systems across cloud and on-premises environments.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes/OpenShift workloads with Helm, and drive observability using Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana while ensuring security and compliance across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of experience in software engineering, systems development, or DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based workflows.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift, including Helm.
• Linux administration and shell scripting for automation.
• Experience delivering software projects end-to-end from planning to production.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

In this role, you will apply deep technical expertise across CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and observability to deliver resilient, high-quality software systems.
