Citi Belfast is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to drive cloud-native data services and Databricks adoption. You will lead Spark/Scala implementations, AI-enabled analytics, and scalable data platforms on AWS, aligning with enterprise standards and governance.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with senior leaders, and guide data processing, optimisation and risk-aware delivery across the GRU tech space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience delivering cloud data platforms and data services.
• Subject Matter Expert in applications development and data engineering.
• Strong leadership, governance, and CI/CD delivery capabilities.

Responsibilities

Proven leadership in building and scaling enterprise data services, driving cloud transformation, optimising performance, capacity, and delivering AI enabled operational and analytics platform.**Responsibilities:*** Lead the design, engineering and delivery of next generation cloud data services supporting data pre-processing, advances matching engines, AI/GenAI services and large-scale data platforms.
