You will lead multi-cloud initiatives, drive automation in CI/CD with GitLab, and advance infrastructure security and networking, including DNS and VPN configurations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing public cloud services across Azure or AWS at enterprise scale.
• Terraform and IaC experience for infrastructure provisioning.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers.
• Technical leadership and delivery responsibility.
• Broad experience across Cloud, Infrastructure, Development, Delivery.
• Experience with GitLab for CI/CD workflows.
• Strong cloud networking knowledge including DNS and secure VPNs.
• Eligible for UK SC Clearance (5 years in the UK, clean record).

Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid - 50% Office / 50% Remote)

Salary: Circa £70,000 to £90,000 + 10% bonus

The Opportunity

Are you a technically versatile problem-solver, passionate about cloud infrastructure and automation? We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an enterprise scale cloud services provider in Cardiff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior / lead engineer to deepen their expertise in multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerisation. You will also lead and mentor more junior engineers within a collaborative culture that prioritizes innovation-including early-stage projects in Generative AI.

What You'll Bring
