We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a growing Agile engineering team. This role will focus on supporting and maintaining existing cloud infrastructure, whilst also contributing to the design and development of modern, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.
Team players are essential for us, as this position will include supporting the wider DevOps team by mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping to build confidence across technical areas. You will also contribute to planning complex technical work, breaking down deliverables into manageable tasks, and supporting the team in managing uncertainty. In addition, we are looking for someone to play a key role in improving DevOps practices, bringing experience in infrastructure testing, Terraform best practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and introducing alternative technologies where appropriate.
You will work across a range of AWS technologies, supporting infrastructure hosted on services including ASGs, ECS, RDS Aurora MySQL, MSK, ElastiCache, S3, and Redshift Spectrum. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team during a period of technical growth, with platform upgrades and ongoing discussions around architecture, technology, and future direction. The ideal candidate will drive improvements to deployment processes, rollback strategies, monitoring, and migration approaches, while contributing to coding standards, peer reviews, and the adoption of new ideas and engineering best practices.
