Congruity360 is seeking a Snr DevOps Engineer in Belfast. You will bridge software development and IT operations, automating processes and building CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery with stability.

Responsibilities include managing infrastructure using modern tooling, implementing scalable cloud workloads, and fostering collaboration across teams to ensure high-quality software releases. Hybrid work with Belfast office attendance is required.

Formación

• Hold a relevant professional qualification, engineering/numerate degree, or equivalent experience.
• Hold a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the software industry, ideally delivering infrastructure.
• Experience with process-driven approaches (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban).

Job Title: Snr DevOps Engineer

Department: Engineering

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Pattern: Hybrid – minimum 2 day per week in Belfast office

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland (Role is NI based. Candidate must have right to live and work in UK)

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable software delivery. You will automate processes, manage infrastructure, and build CI/CD pipelines to speed up development and deployment. By integrating tools, monitoring systems, and fostering collaboration between teams, you will help the organization deliver high-quality software faster and with greater stability.

Professional Training/Experience:

• Hold a relevant professional qualification, engineering/numerate degree, or equivalent experience.
• Hold a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the software industry, ideally delivering infrastructure.
• Experience with process-driven approaches (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
• Cloud / Kubernetes certifications a plus

Skills and Abilities:

It is essential that applicants have:

• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• The ability to work with others as well as work independently to achieve effective outcomes.
• Follow established infrastructure standards.

Essential Experience:

• 4+ years hands‑on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role
• Experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins ( Groovy scripting) with Git workflows via Bitbucket or GitHub
• Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform or similar tooling.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining high-availability workloads in Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience automating and orchestrating workloads for large-scale enterprise organizations
• Experience managing and maintaining cloud solutions Azure, AWS—as well as private cloud environments.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash or groovy to automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog

Desirable Experience:

• Experience of data platforms within Kubernetes and Cloud Offerings (Postgres and MongoDB)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including information, data, and cyber security principles (e.g., secret management, vulnerability scanning)
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior/mid-level engineers
• Cloud or DevOps Certification
