Job summary

Congruity360 in Belfast is seeking a Lead Engineer to guide an experienced engineering team in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on a .NET skillset, driving technical decisions, and delivering high quality software that enhances client experience.

You will lead an agile team of 8-10 engineers, balance hands-on coding with mentoring, and collaborate with Product and other squads to align on goals. The position requires a university degree and 5+ years in software development.

Job Summary:

This role offers the opportunity to work in emerging technologies with a primary focus on a .Net skillset in a Lead role. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced development environment, generating creative solutions to solve customer needs and challenges. The successful candidate will be actively involved in driving technical decisions within the team, with a desire to produce high quality software to provide a superior client experience.

The role will involve leading an agile team of 8-10 engineers, whilst remaining actively engaged in day to day development work. Effectively manages performance and development of the team, ensuring engineering standards are adhered to. Communication and collaboration with other development teams, stakeholders, and Product team will be essential.

Education requirements:

• A University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field

Experience:

• 5+ years relevant software engineering and development experience
• Proactive attitude with great communications skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to work well with people are essential

Essential Criteria:

• 5-8+ years C#, .NET Core
• 3+ years' experience in Microservices
• Very strong SQL skills
• 2+ yrs experience leading an agile team
