Job summary

Anson McCade Pty is hiring a Senior DevOps engineer to join a collaborative engineering team delivering digital solutions across National Security and Central Government. The role shapes cloud infrastructure and supports resilient, cloud-native applications in highly secure environments. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary Agile team.

This is a permanent, hybrid position based in Manchester, Bristol, or Central London, United Kingdom, with a salary of £60,000–£80,000 GBP.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms and services.
• Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes and Docker).
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins or equivalents).
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic).
• Experience with secure infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering.
• Experience delivering software in Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Experience building resilient, scalable, highly available cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Help design, automate, and support cloud platforms underpinning critical software services.
• Contribute across the DevOps lifecycle from provisioning to monitoring/optimisation.
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of cloud-native apps.
• Support technical decision-making and champion DevOps best practices.
• Share knowledge with less experienced engineers.

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms and services
