Job summary

Flo is seeking a senior Infrastructure/DevOps professional to join the Velocity team. You will build intuitive self-service tooling, standardize security and observability, and evolve the core stack on AWS, EKS, and Terraform.

The role emphasizes reliability, privacy features, and a doc-first collaboration style across distributed product teams. A flexible, hybrid workplace with 2 days in the office is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Infrastructure, DevEx, SRE, or DevOps roles supporting high-traffic distributed environments.
• Experience scaling consumer tech platforms with millions of concurrent users.
• Background in hardening infrastructure for high-compliance or security-sensitive environments.
• Professional Accreditation such as AWS Professional Architect, CKAD or KCSA

Responsibilities

• Abstract Complexity: Build intuitive tooling that enables self-service for devs to focus on product logic.
• Standardize Excellence: Bake best-practices, security, observability, and scalability into the core stack.
• Developer Experience: Build self-service tools that give product teams autonomy without sacrificing system stability.
• Platform Engineering: Architect and evolve our core stack (AWS, EKS, Terraform).
• Systems Resilience: Lead reliability initiatives, including business continuity planning and on-call rotation.
• High-Scale Privacy: Support infrastructure for privacy features such as Anonymous Mode.
• Observability: Implement monitoring (metrics, logs, tracing) to identify issues before users are impacted.
