Job summary

Perceptic in London is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and run security‑critical infrastructure. From day one you’ll own deployments across our platform and isolated customer environments, balancing speed with reliability in a high‑trust pharma context.

You’ll manage Kubernetes at scale on AWS (EKS), implement GitOps with Argo CD, and codify everything in Terraform/OpenTofu and Terragrunt. The role offers a clear path to Lead and requires hands‑on expertise and an ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
• Ownership of production systems including multi-tenant environments.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes production experience at scale.
• Fluency with AWS and infrastructure-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Build and run GitOps deployment backbone on Argo CD.
• Operate Kubernetes on AWS (EKS) across production environments.
• Own infrastructure-as-code in Terraform/OpenTofu and Terragrunt.
• Deliver multi-tenant, per-customer isolation: stand up isolated environments and deploy to them.
• Strengthen security and compliance posture: secrets management, access controls, and SOC2-related controls.
• Build observability: telemetry, metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, alerting.
• Drive reliability, incident response, and runbooks to protect trust.
• Keep shipping cadence high through CI/CD and release automation.
• Improve developer experience for fast deployment and debugging.
