Position: Senior Development Technologist

Location: Peterborough, UK

Main Responsibilities

1. Develop and launch new products (including duplications) for specified customers to achieve sales growth.
2. Link design activity to business strategy by delivering innovative products within the constraints of the brief.
3. Use sound commercial and technical awareness of ingredients, processes, and customer requirements to deliver right first time.
4. Provide technical support to operations, logistics, and purchasing for cost release, quality maintenance, and improvement programs.
5. Interact with customers to support relationship building and customer intimacy strategy.
6. Engage with suppliers and the marketplace to ensure the latest ingredients and technologies are employed in new developments.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Food Technology or Food Science.
• On-bench development experience in salad dressings, condiments, and sauces relevant to our portfolio or similar food environment.
• RSQ experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
