About the Role

The purpose of your role as a Senior Development Technologist is to ensure factory processes align with business needs, consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recipe development and product innovation from concept to launch, including factory trials and initial costings.
• Manage NPD projects, liaise with suppliers, and support customer engagement through presentations and updates.
• Oversee preproduction and production launches, benchmarking, and identify market growth opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic planning and cross-functional coordination.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in NPD within the food manufacturing sector.
• Experience leading trials in a commercial factory environment.

Compensation and Location

The role offers a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. The site is in North London, accessible from Ilford, Hackney, Waltham Cross, and Potters Bar. Benefits include 25 days holiday, pension, and working hours from Monday to Friday, closed over Christmas.
