Madison Berkeley is seeking an SDM to lead a live urban development pipeline across East and Inner London. The role drives pre-lets, appraisals and business-plan updates for schemes up to £100m GDV, coordinating with project teams and external advisers.

A strong development background and stakeholder management are essential to succeed in this position. The role offers hybrid working with three days in the office or on site and a collaborative technical team of around 16.

Qualifikationen

• Track record of delivering and securing pre-lets in Inner London or the wider industrial market.
• Strong commercial grounding and ability to lead project teams.
• Experience on larger or multi-site schemes with stakeholder-heavy or partnership-led projects.

I’m working with a leading UK industrial and logistics developer on a hire for an SDM to take over a live development pipeline across East and Inner London.

The business is a major player in urban logistics, and this role sits at the centre of a long-running partnership with a public-sector landowner, alongside other schemes across London.

The role

• Lead delivery of a pipeline of chunky urban schemes (UP TO £100m GDV), from approved business plan through procurement, construction, letting and completion
• Drive pre-let and forward-sale activity, with three live opportunities across roughly 100,000+ sq ft
• Own appraisals, yield-on-cost papers and business-plan updates
• Work hand in hand with project managers and external advisers, and manage project teams
• Build and maintain relationships with public-sector partners, local authorities and occupiers

What we’re looking for

• A track record of delivering and securing pre-lets in Inner London or the wider industrial market
• Strong commercial grounding (QS, BS or development background) and the ability to lead project teams
• Experience on larger or multi-site schemes, ideally with stakeholder-heavy or partnership-led projects
• Someone who can hit the ground running and already knows the market and the occupiers
