Job summary

Scottish Borders Housing Association is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead SBHA's affordable housing development programme and deliver high-quality, value-for-money homes across the Scottish Borders. You will head the pre-contract development lifecycle for new-build and major refurbishment projects, including feasibility, planning, funding and governance.

The successful candidate will have at least five years' senior-level experience in affordable housing development or regeneration,

• Five years’ senior-level experience in affordable housing development or regeneration.
• Strong leadership, commercial, financial and analytical skills.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders and build relationships with tenants, communities, partners, consultants and funders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-contract development lifecycle for new-build and major refurbishment projects.
• Oversee feasibility, planning, funding and grant administration, procurement strategy, stakeholder engagement, risk management and governance.
• Work with Construction Manager to maintain strategic oversight of programme and financial performance.
