Scottish Borders Housing Association Limited is seeking a Development Assistant to support the delivery of new affordable homes in the Scottish Borders, providing high-quality administration and coordination to the Development Team.
You will maintain project records, action logs, payment and cashflow records, customer communications and handover records, and work closely with colleagues, consultants and customers to ensure progress and governance.
Salary: c£29k - £32k per annum (pay award pending)
Location: Selkirk, Scottish Borders
Hours and terms: Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, permanent

We're looking for a Development Assistant to support the delivery of new affordable homes across the Scottish Borders by providing high-quality administration and coordination support to SBHA’s Development Team.
As Development Assistant, you will help keep the development programme well organised, accurately recorded and progressing in line with internal governance, funding and customer service requirements. You will maintain project records, action logs, consultant and contractor information, payment and cashflow records, HARP grant administration, customer communications, handover records and defects tracking
You will work closely with Development colleagues, internal teams, consultants, contractors and customers, acting as a professional first point of contact for development-related enquiries and ensuring matters are recorded, progressed or escalated where required.
