Job summary

Scottish Borders Housing Association in Selkirk is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead SBHA's affordable housing development programme and oversee pre-contract development lifecycle.

You will manage feasibility, planning, funding and governance, working with the Construction Manager to ensure financial performance and value-for-money delivery of high-quality homes across the Scottish Borders.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of senior-level experience in affordable housing development or similar field.
• Strong leadership, commercial, financial and analytical skills.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders and prepare governance reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract development lifecycle for new-build and major refurbishment projects.
• Oversee feasibility, planning, funding and grant administration, procurement strategy, and governance.
• Engage stakeholders, manage risk, and ensure programme governance and financial performance.
• Collaborate with Construction Manager to maintain strategic oversight and value-for-money delivery.
