Deverellsmith has partnered with an independently-minded property developer with a multi-award-winning portfolio of some of Europe's largest urban development projects.

The role
  1. Develop, maintain, monitor, and report against detailed development appraisals, programmes, and budgets.
  2. Ensure the design of the development is progressively signed off internally at appropriate stages.
  3. Monitor financial planning of development with the project financial controller.
  4. Monitor Town Planning risks and negotiations in consultation with planning team and consultants.
  5. Manage all negotiations with external stakeholders using relevant internal/external resources.
  6. Ensure project appraisal is accurate and reflects the scheme.
  7. Monitor and report changes in appraisal resulting from design changes.
What you need
  • More than six years of experience in a front-end Development Manager (DM) position.
  • Strong planning, feasibility, and design experience.
  • Experience in a joint venture or collaborative project environment, particularly with local authorities.
  • Development aspirations are met in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Effective communication between the project team.
