Omega is seeking a Senior Development Engineer (Mechanical) in Tewkesbury for a permanent role in aerospace. You will lead development of innovative aerospace products across the lifecycle, including design, development, testing and qualification.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace or related Engineering discipline.
• Significant experience developing complex engineered products.
• Able to lead technical activities across product development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification testing.
• Experience with hydraulic or electrohydraulic systems (Desirable).
• Experience using Siemens NX or similar CAD software.
• Experience using analysis tools such as Mathcad, CFD, and FEA.
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.

The Role – Senior Development Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity for an analytical Senior Mechanical Engineering professional to join a prominent global aerospace business in a Senior Engineering position.

You will be responsible for leading the development of innovative aerospace products throughout the product lifecycle, including design, development, testing and qualification.

You’ll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you’ll be able to showcase your skills and expertise in a highly technical and challenging product development role.
