Job summary

Home Group in the North East region seeks a Senior Development and Delivery Manager to drive our new homes development programme from inception to completion. You will lead a multi-site team and ensure developments deliver high quality homes with customer focus.

Responsibilities include overseeing planning, procurement, budgets and contractor relationships, delivering mixed-tenure schemes, and achieving growth targets while maintaining value and quality for communities across the North East.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the housing sector delivering high-quality new homes across multiple sites.
• A relevant degree (or equivalent) and a proven track record in delivering complex mixed-tenure developments, including affordable housing and homes for private sale.
• Strong commercial knowledge of housing development, planning processes, procurement, and contractor management.
• Skilled in creating and implementing compliant, design-led schemes.
• A natural leader who inspires teams and creates a great place to work.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel across sites required)

The practical bits

• Hybrid working, with 2 days being in One Strawberry Lane and the rest on site or at home
• Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
