Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ hands-on experience across detection engineering, incident response or security engineering.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, computer architecture and security fundamentals.
• Proven ability to design scalable telemetry pipelines and manage security tooling.
• Experience with scripting or software-engineering, ideally in Python, Go, or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Define and build the firm's Detection & Response capability across various infrastructures.
• Design logging, telemetry, and security data pipelines.
• Build and tune detections using canaries and honeypots.
• Partner with teams to embed security into deployment models.
• Investigate security events and improve response playbooks.
