Job summary

Mondrian Alpha is seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer for its London office. You will join a small, collaborative technology team and take a senior technical role across desktop and end-user support, BAU and project work. The environment is Microsoft-centric with Windows, M365, Azure, AD and Citrix/VDI.

You’ll support traders, PMs and senior executives, solving complex issues and driving standardization. The role includes potential light leadership responsibilities and hands-on problem ownership

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in desktop/end-user technology in a high-touch financial environment such as hedge funds, asset managers, wealth managers, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability delivering a white-glove/VIP support model to traders, portfolio managers, executives and business owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1–L3 end-user support for the trading floor, executives, portfolio managers and wider user base.
• Own end-to-end incident resolution from initial triage to final fix and documentation.
• Collaborate with Systems, Infrastructure and Development teams; may take on light team-lead duties.
