Witherslack Group is seeking a Designated Safeguarding Lead for a school setting. You will lead safeguarding across the school, liaising with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents, carers and staff to ensure wellbeing and protection.

Reporting to the Head Teacher, you will shape safeguarding practice, develop CPD, and support a high staff-to-child ratio in a SEND environment. We offer a competitive salary (£36,581 - £46,579), excellent benefits, induction, holidays and a contributory

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a Designated Safeguarding Lead role.
• Comprehensive CPD portfolio related to safeguarding and child protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem resolution skills.
• Genuine empathetic approach and full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Lead safeguarding within the school and liaise with agencies, parents and staff.
• Work with the Head Teacher to maintain wellbeing and protection standards.
• Support colleagues with safeguarding guidance and training.
