Job summary

Witherslack Group in Bristol is seeking an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead to join the leadership team in a purpose-built SEND setting.

You will liaise with agencies, families and staff on wellbeing, safeguarding and child protection, bringing expert advice and support to the school and wider community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Comprehensive CPD portfolio related to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem resolution skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead safeguarding within the school and coordinate with agencies, families and staff.
• Act as a trusted source of advice and expertise on wellbeing and child protection.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure pupil needs are fully recognised and met.
