Qualifications

• Must have worked with autistic pupils.
• Able to communicate in multiple ways (Makaton, PECs, PODD) for non-verbal pupils.
• Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
• Willing to work with pupils aged 4–11.

Responsibilities

• Lead safeguarding within the school and liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
• Support staff, pupils and families to promote wellbeing and safety.
• Provide expert safeguarding advice and guidance to the team.
