BAE Systems in the United Kingdom seeks a Mechanical Team Leader to guide and develop a group of engineers, ensuring knowledge is reused, schemes are fit for purpose and risks are understood and managed. You will provide project management oversight to ensure estimates, tracking and execution align with processes.

Responsibilities include preparing development plans, chairing design reviews, directing resources and budgets, and maintaining governance.

Formación

• Leadership and/or project management experience.
• Experience managing product development from concept to production.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and design governance.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and present Mechanical Development Plans and design data packs.
• Peer-check work and review designs, data, and reports.
• Chair design review panels internally and with customers.
• Prepare project plans and monitor progress and budgets.
• Manage resource plans and allocations for Mechanical Engineering.
• Prepare estimates for bids and support proposals.
• Lead performance and development reviews and salary discussions.
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures in mechanical teams.
