Job summary

Blue Water Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager in Milford Haven to lead the design process from pre-construction through to completion on major construction projects for a main contractor.

You will coordinate architecture, structural and MEP, manage consultant teams, ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with the programme and budget, and drive value engineering opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing design on large-scale construction projects (essential).
• Strong coordination across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines (essential).
• Experience administering design programmes and managing consultant teams (essential).
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, planning requirements and statutory approvals (essential).
• Ability to identify and mitigate design risks while driving value engineering opportunities (essential).
