Job summary

Leighton George is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to support its growing portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects in Bristol. You will lead design coordination across disciplines, manage design programmes and drive value from early development through delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and a proactive, collaborative approach to integrate design with constructability, cost and schedule.

Qualifications

Extensive design management experience in construction or infrastructure.
Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
Solid understanding of pre-construction, design development and delivery.
Proficient in coordinating design programmes and deliverables.
Able to identify risks and drive resolution with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the design process across construction and infrastructure projects.
Lead multidisciplinary design teams to deliver coordinated information.
Establish design programmes, milestones and deliverables.
Develop design management strategies and project documentation.
Identify risks and resolve coordination issues.
Chair design meetings and support project controls.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders.
