Job summary

Leighton George is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join as Associate Partner in our Bristol (or Exeter) team, with hybrid working. The role combines technical leadership with commercial responsibility, overseeing a diverse portfolio of developments and infrastructure projects, and guiding a multidisciplinary team.

You will build and maintain client relationships, identify new opportunities, manage resources and budgets, and contribute to the growth of the civil engineering service while

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Chartered Engineer status highly regarded.
• Experience in consultancy with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a civil engineering team.
• Oversee delivery of civil design across diverse projects.
• Manage highways, drainage and external works design.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance.
• Support feasibility, planning, and detailed design phases.
• Manage resources, budgets and fees.
• Build long-term client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
• Collaborate with architects and other disciplines.
