Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Senior Design Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering MOJ schemes in Kent and London. The role encompasses pre-construction and delivery on large-scale new build, refurbishment and fire safety works.

You will report to the Head of Design and Operations Manager, with a mix of home/office work for the first three months before heading out to site. Applicants must have experience on projects of at least £10m and be able to commute to Central London.

Qualifications

• Experience on projects valued at £10m or more.
• Background in construction, consultancy or architectural environments.
• Willingness to work from home or office initially, then site delivery.

Senior Design Manager - Kent

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Design Manager to join a leading main contractor working in Kent. They are currently searching for a freelance Senior Design Manager for upcoming MOJ projects in Kent / London. The scheme is currently still in pre construction and consists of new build, refurbishment and fire safety works. Reporting directly to the Head of Design and Operations Manager, potential candidates are welcomed from either a construction, consultancy or architectural background.

The Design Manager will have experience of working both on site and in the head office. The project is due to go to site in the next couple of months and the successful candidate will be expected to work from home or be office based for at least the first 3 months working on the PCSA before heading out to site for delivery.

Applicants must have experience of working on projects of at least £10m with leading Main Contractors, Developers, Architectural Practices or Consultancies with supporting references. They must also live within a commutable distance of Central London.
