Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Senior Design Manager for MOJ projects in Kent and London. The role is freelance, with initial remote/office work for three months before site deployment.

You will report to the Head of Design and Operations Manager and bring experience from construction, consultancy or architectural backgrounds to manage design on £10m+ schemes across the project. Travel within the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience on projects of at least £10m with leading main contractors or equivalent.
• Ability to work both on site and in head office.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK.
• Commutable distance to Central London.

Senior Design Manager - Kent

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Design Manager to join a leading main contractor working in Kent. They are currently searching for a freelance Senior Design Manager for upcoming MOJ projects in Kent / London. The scheme is currently still in pre construction and consists of new build, refurbishment and fire safety works. Reporting directly to the Head of Design and Operations Manager, potential candidates are welcomed from either a construction, consultancy or architectural background.

The Design Manager will have experience of working both on site and in the head office. The project is due to go to site in the next couple of months and the successful candidate will be expected to work from home or be office based for at least the first 3 months working on the PCSA before heading out to site for delivery.

Applicants must have experience of working on projects of at least £10m with leading Main Contractors, Developers, Architectural Practices or Consultancies with supporting references. They must also live within a commutable distance of Central London.
