Job summary

Russell Taylor Group Ltd in the North West Manchester area is seeking a Senior Design Manager on a permanent basis. You will run design phases from pre-construction through to onsite delivery, chair design meetings and liaise directly with clients.

The role requires contracting experience, strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple high-value projects within a Tier 1 main contractor environment. The company offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement after settling in with the site

Qualifications

• Contracting experience of at least 5 years.
• Experience with various construction technology.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.
• Experience managing multiple projects or projects of a complex nature or high value.

Join a Tier 1 main contractor with an excellent pipeline of works in the Manchester region.

My client is a leading Tier 1 main building contractor with an excellent reputation in the marketplace. Due to an increase in recent contracts they currently require a Senior Design Manager's to join their team. They have won a number of DfE projects so would be interested in candidates with Education delivery experience. Although they cover a wide range within commercial and residential projects too. Schemes range from £50million to £100million.

They require an experienced Senior Design Manager to run design phases both starting in pre-construction through to onsite delivery.

The Senior Design Manager they are looking for must be experienced in delivering projects for a main building contractor. You will be in charge of managing the design team chairing meeting and dealing a lot direct with the client.

To consider you will have proven experience of the following:

• Contracting experience of at least 5 years.
• Various forms of construction technology.
• Using Microsoft suite of Office programmes; inc. Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.
• Management of multiple projects or Projects of a complex nature or high value
