Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Senior Design Manager for a permanent role in the North West Manchester area. You will lead design phases from pre-construction to onsite delivery, chair client meetings, and oversee the design team on multiple projects.

Candidates should have at least 5 years contracting experience, strong knowledge of construction technology, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project.

Senior Design Manager

Join a Tier 1 main contractor with an excellent pipeline of works in the Manchester region. My client is a leading Tier 1 main building contractor with an excellent reputation in the marketplace. Due to an increase in recent contracts they currently require a Senior Design Manager's to join their team. They have won a number of DfE projects so would be interested in candidates with Education delivery experience. Although they cover a wide range within commercial and residential projects too. Schemes range from £50million to £100million.

They require an experienced Senior Design Manager to run design phases both starting in pre-construction through to onsite delivery. The Senior Design Manager they are looking for must be experienced in delivering projects for a main building contractor. You will be in charge of managing the design team chairing meeting and dealing a lot direct with the client.

To consider you will have proven experience of the following:

• Contracting experience of at least 5 years.
• Various forms of construction technology.
• Using Microsoft suite of Office programmes; inc. Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.
• Management of multiple projects or Projects of a complex nature or high value
