Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking a senior design and technical lead responsible for all design aspects of projects, ensuring delivery on budget and programme. You will coordinate external consultants with the wider United Infrastructure team and business partners to achieve compliant, on-time start on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and design processes, design teams and subcontractors through design, procurement and construction, monitoring progress to ensure delivery on time and in budget.
• Review and input into allocated bids, undertake technical appraisals of design information, assess design requirements and production of a design programme.
• Assess the quality of received information, identify value engineering opportunities, risks, and prepare contractor proposals.
• Monitor and manage consultant fees and invoicing; fulfilment of CDM Principal Designer and Building Regulations Principal Design roles.
• Oversee and coordinate design packages with consultants and subcontractors; ensure compliant, complete and coordinated information for Commercial and Construction teams.
• Collate all required information and liaise with Planning Authorities and Building Control to obtain all necessary approvals and sign-offs.
