Job summary

United Infrastructure in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced design-focused manager to own the design and technical aspects of projects, ensuring delivery on time and budget, coordinating external consultants and internal teams.

You will lead technical design across all disciplines, manage procurement and production information, and ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM duties, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proactive management style with leadership across teams.
• Proven track record in design and technical process for residential projects.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and planning submission processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and design processes with consultants and subcontractors.
• Manage design programme and progress reporting.
• Review design information for compliance and value engineering.
• Ensure building design coordination across fire safety, M&E, structures.
• Oversee document control and approvals.
• Chair design package presentations.
• Manage change control for variations.
• Liaise with Planning Authorities and Building Control.
