Job summary

United Living Group is seeking a Design Coordinator to assist the Design Manager in coordinating consultant teams during detailed design, ensuring coordination with United Infrastructures requirements and current regulations to gain approvals and enable a start on site in line with programmes.

Responsibilities include coordinating design processes with teams and subcontractors, reviewing drawings for buildability, maintaining design schedules, and managing change control and documentation for

Qualifications

• Analytical approach with attention to detail.
• Leadership skills under pressure and to strict deadlines.
• Experience reviewing drawings for buildability and issues.
• Knowledge of construction design and pre-construction activities.
• Relevant Design and Build experience and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical and design processes across teams and subcontractors.
• Review consultants' detail design drawings and ensure coordination.
• Maintain and update monthly design schedules and change control.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards and buildability.
• Collate information and liaise with planning/building control authorities.
• Support Design Manager and provide timely responses to RFIs.
• Prepare documentation packages for handover and site start.
