Job summary

Construction in Plymouth seeks a Design Implementation Engineer to bridge design and field execution on major infrastructure projects, including nuclear-safety related facilities. You will coordinate Designer Site Representative efforts and ensure works align with approved designs and specifications.

Ideal candidates have Civil or Structural engineering experience on large-scale infrastructure within nuclear-licensed environments, including dock structures, seismic design, and construction

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure in a nuclear-licensed environment.
• Experience with seismic codes and nuclear safety requirements.
• Dock structures experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Designer Site Representative activities and respond to site queries.
• Review technical queries, changes and ensure conformance with approved designs and specifications.
• Review inspection/test documentation, risk assessments, method statements and temporary works designs.
• Support non-conformance management and conduct targeted site surveillance to assure standards.
• Ensure construction activities comply with designs and specifications.
