Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Bristol is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the Wing Fuel Systems Installation team in Filton, Bristol. Reporting to Head of Wing Fluid and Mechanical Systems Installation, you'll lead end-to-end design activities and collaborate with global customers and suppliers.

You will provide technical governance, support in-service activities, and mentor engineers while expanding your airworthiness authorities.

Qualifications

• Extensive aerospace design engineering experience.
• CATIA V5/V6 and PDMS tools familiarity.
• Experience holding or pursuing Authorization signatory status.
• Willingness to travel to UK and international sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design activities from concept to modification.
• Provide technical governance and sign-off for wing fuel system designs.
• Offer in-service and operational support to manufacturing sites and operators.
• Mentor engineers and develop future technical signatories.
