Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited invites undergraduates to join the Fuel & Inerting Systems team in Filton, Bristol for a 12.5‑month internship starting 16 August 2027. You will contribute to control and indication design, fuel gauging, and system development across the aircraft lifecycle.

Successful candidates will be working in an engineering environment, studying aerospace, electrical, computer or software disciplines, and must be available for the full duration. UK BPSS/SC clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student for the whole placement duration.
• Studying one of the listed engineering disciplines.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and validation of fuel control and indication systems.
• Support R&T projects and flight test campaigns across the fleet.
• Engage in cross-functional work spanning software, electronics and mechatronics.
