Job summary

Astec Industries Europe Limited, Omagh, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer – Washing to lead design efforts from inception through production for static and modular wash plants. The role collaborates with sales, manufacturing, purchasing and service teams to develop solutions, integrating electrical controls, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in equipment design and manufacturing (mechanical, structural, hydraulic and electrical/control system design).
• Ability to take responsibility for completion of projects with due dates and defined requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design efforts from inception through production.
• Develop conceptual and final design solutions; coordinate project activities.
• Support existing product offerings and perform testing or analysis of new and existing products.
