Job summary

Astec Omagh seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the Omagh design team in developing control systems for mobile and industrial equipment. You will own project delivery from concept to product release, ensuring designs meet standards and performance targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 10+ years’ design experience, and strong leadership. You will mentor engineers, drive NPD roadmaps, and work with customers to document specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of practical design experience, with 3+ years in leadership or PM.
• Experience in control system architecture for mobile and industrial equipment.
• Strong teamwork and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Omagh design team to deliver across product lifecycle on time and to a high standard.
• Foster growth and development within the engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and robust design documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales and customers to document specifications clearly.
