Triumph Motorcycles is seeking a Senior Design Engineer specializing in simulation, located in Hinckley. The role involves gear tooth design and supporting analysis work including FEA and CFD for motorcycle projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a Mechanical Engineering degree and possess excellent analytical skills. Company benefits include additional leave, a pension scheme, and discounts on Triumph motorcycles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in FEA simulation including stress/fatigue analysis.
• Familiarity with SMT MASTA and Creo Simulate is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Perform gear tooth design and analysis for durability and noise optimization.
• Deliver simulation work such as FEA and CFD for motorcycle design projects.
• Document and maintain analysis methodologies and procedures.
• Produce high-quality simulation modelling in collaboration with teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in design practices.
• Create technical documentation including reports and specifications.

Connaissances

Mechanical Engineering degree

FEA simulation (stress/fatigue analysis)

SMT MASTA experience

Creo Simulate FEA experience

Formation
